What We Do
Since 2007, WFED has granted over $1.3 million dollars to nonprofits on the Western Slope of El Dorado County. With trusted stewardship of our members' donations, our fund has grown, and so has our giving. We grant $100,000 annually and continue to grow in dollars, grants and members. We have granted to over 60 nonprofits, who have implemented over 110 projects in our community.
WFED is a vibrant community of like-minded individuals who come together to improve the lives of our friends, families, neighbors and ourselves by giving together.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for residents of the western slope of El Dorado County through accessible and inclusive philanthropy.
What We've Achieved
Lighthouse Fund
- Since its creation in 2013, the LightHouse Fund has awarded more than $76,000 to 206 individuals in our community.
Growing Our Giving
- Awarded over $1.3 million dollars to local nonprofits, funding programs for basic human needs, poverty, women and children, and arts and culture.
Wickline
- WFED manages the Wickline Fund, awarding scholarships to women 22+ to advance their education.
- Since 2012, WFED has awarded over $86,000 Wickline Scholarship dollars, making a difference in the lives of 51 women.
